The University uses a 7 –step plan for weight loss. Seven Step Plan for Weight Loss The first step is getting prepared mentally before starting the weight-loss program. The second step is setting aim of losing not more than 10 percent of one’s body weight in six months. The third step is including regular exercise in the weight loss plan. The fourth step is not eliminating fat from diet, but keeping watch on how much a person eats. The fifth step is to avoid snacking. The sixth step is eating special foods on special occasions and not depriving oneself from foods one loves.
