Living the Full-life
The three basic pillars of positive psychology are the pleasant life, the good life and the meaningful life. One can live a complete life by blending all these three pillars successfully (Module 5 Reading). The pleasant life is related to building up positive experiences and positive experiences of life. The good life is related to development of positive traits and using the inner strengths and the meaningful life is about discovering purpose and meaning in life.
I can experience each pillar in the following manner in my life through my experiences. I can experience pleasant life by focusing on good things in life. I also will try meditation because I believe meditation can create internal strength and also give the ability to bear the negative experiences and turn them to positive experiences of life. I will be always optimistic and use my inner strengths to complete my work in the house or at my job wherever and whenever necessary. While dealing with people, I will always remember the concept of gratitude that will help me to have positive relations with people. I will help people in need and this activity of helping others may help me to flourish because helping others will give me internal happiness. I will experience good life by changing my work experiences in such a way that I enjoy each and every activity of my life. I will make my life meaningful by spending more time with family and friends and giving importance to relationships.
